Meet the people behind
Project Milk Mission.
A shared commitment. A caring community. Our team brings culturally inclusive breastfeeding education and support to families across Ohio.
Meet Our Founder
Gina VanCant, MA, CLC
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Gina VanCant has been committed to addressing breastfeeding disparities among African American women since 2017. Recognizing the need for accessible education and ongoing support, she founded Project Milk Mission in 2020.
She brings extensive experience supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers and leads a diverse team of lactation professionals serving underserved and underrepresented communities across Ohio.
Through culturally inclusive breastfeeding education, peer support, and virtual and in-person services, Project Milk Mission works to address breastfeeding disparities and support its broader purpose of reducing infant mortality.
