About Project Milk Mission
Our Beginning: Founded in 2020 to address breastfeeding disparities affecting African American women, Project Milk Mission has grown to serve pregnant and postpartum families across five Ohio counties. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing evidence-based, culturally inclusive breastfeeding education and support to families of every race, ethnicity and background.
Our 2025 Impact: Project Milk Mission reached and supported more than 600 pregnant and postpartum mothers through educational classes, one-on-one support, referrals, community outreach and connections to essential resources.
Why Breastfeeding Matters: Breastfeeding is an important public health strategy that supports healthy infant growth and helps reduce the risk of certain illnesses and chronic health conditions for both babies and mothers.
How We Support Families: We offer breastfeeding classes, support groups, safe-sleep education, individualized education and referrals to community resources.
Your Support in Action: Proceeds from the Fundraising Brunch will support breastfeeding education and maternal and infant health services for pregnant and postpartum families in Cuyahoga County.
Parking: Valet and nearby garage parking are available.
